Our Story
Landstar was founded by the Mylonas family. Originally in the ‘Mr. Sub’ restaurant business, Jim Mylonas had the foresight and financial acumen to purchase his restaurant locations and invest in diverse real estate opportunities. From this, a land development arm was born with the creation of Landstar Development Corporation in 1995. Since our inception, Landstar has grown to become a well-balanced and highly respected land development company, pursuing development and construction projects in residential, retail, and mixed-use properties.
